Christian counseling in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Your faith is important to you—and seeking counseling doesn’t mean you don’t have enough of it. Needing help doesn’t make your belief weak; it makes you human. Christian counseling is not a replacement for faith, but a companion to it. It’s one more way you can walk with intention into the fullness of who God created you to be (Ephesians 2:10).

Here, your story matters. Your questions matter. You don’t have to show up with all the answers or a perfectly tidy spiritual life. If you’re carrying doubt, grief, or spiritual fatigue—if your prayers feel quiet or your connection with God feels distant—you are not alone, and you are welcome here.

“Even in the midst of our worst times, God has not abandoned us. We may feel overwhelmed by our problems and sorrows — but God is never overwhelmed...”

-Billy Graham

Christian counseling at Qavah is a place where your mental health and spiritual journey are honored together. Whether your faith feels strong, shaken, or uncertain, this is a space of compassion and truth, where we explore healing without judgment and without pressure to pretend.

This work is collaborative. We’ll draw from therapeutic practices—and pair them with spiritual rhythms such as breathwork, guided prayer, scriptural meditation, and cultivating the practice of God’s presence. These are not just techniques; they’re invitations to reconnect with the God who sees you and meets you right where you are.

It’s also important to clarify that Christian counseling is distinct from Biblical counseling. While Biblical counseling often centers solely on Scripture for guidance, Christian counseling integrates both your faith and clinical tools—offering a holistic path forward that respects your relationship with God and the emotional complexity of being human.

You are invited to bring your whole self—your faith, your doubts, your questions, your pain. And together, we’ll pursue healing,
wholeness, and hope rooted in God.
