Meet Tabatha
Hi, I’m Tabatha. I have a love for life and for my role as a counselor. Why? I can relate. Like you, I’ve sat in the darkness of grief. I’ve wrestled with deep sadness that challenged my faith. There has been uncertainty that shook my foundation, at times. Through all that I found hope and healing, and I know you can too.
Grief and spiritual struggles can feel so isolating. You don't have to do this alone. Your pain and doubts matter here. There is no shame. I will walk alongside you with authenticity and deep empathy during this healing process.

Christian Counseling integrates psychological tools with Christian faith, using both clinical approaches and biblical wisdom.
Spiritual Care focuses less on counseling techniques and more on your spiritual journey. These sessions may include prayer, Scripture meditation, or space to process your faith questions with pastoral care rather than therapeutic counseling.
-
No. I welcome clients from all Christian traditions as well as those who are exploring faith or have questions about it. My role is not to push a denomination or agenda but to create a safe space where your unique faith story is respected and supported.
-
Not at all. Struggling is part of the human experience and does not diminish the strength of your faith. Many people of faith wrestle with doubt, grief, anxiety, or depression. Bringing those struggles into the light is an act of courage and can actually deepen your spiritual life rather than weaken it.
Pricing
Embarking on therapy is a meaningful choice for personal growth. By opting for private pay, you're investing in care that’s flexible, deeply personal, and focused solely on you—with no outside pressure from insurance.
Why Private Pay Matters
Customized Experience – Your care is tailored to your unique goals and pace, not to standardized billing categories or session limits.
Focused Collaboration – We work together to decide session frequency and duration based on your progress—not an insurer’s schedule.
Preventive and Selective Support – Whether you're navigating everyday stress, seeking spiritual grounding, or investing in long-term growth, private pay allows you to access care before things become overwhelming.
Less Red Tape, More Connection – Without insurance mandates, we can spend our energy on you—not paperwork.

My Approach
I offer an authentic, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where you are truly seen and heard. Healing isn’t about having the right answers—it’s about feeling supported in the midst of the unknown. Our work together is about creating a space where your story is honored, your emotions are validated, and healing happens at your own pace. Whether your faith is strong, uncertain, or evolving, you are welcome here.
My approach is holistic, acknowledging that emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being are interconnected. Through our work together, you can find relief and healing, gaining a renewed sense of purpose, hope, and resilience. I offer many services in-person in SIoux Falls, SD and virtuall across South Dakota including Christian counseling, grief counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Brainspotting. But more than anything, I offer a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment or expectation.
Please note: As a pre-licensed counselor, I’m supervised by a licensed therapist and am working towards licensure. I am currently under the supervision of Stephanie Moore, MS, NCC, LPC-MH, QMHP and Lawrence Porter, PhD, LMFT.
